10 April - Stourport & Kidderminster Rock & Roll Night, with live band 'Rooster', The Gilt Edge Club, Zortech Avenue, Off Walter Nash Rd West, Oldington, Kidderminster, DY11 7DY. It's between Stourport & Kidderminster on A451, in an industrial area, but follow the brown signs for 'golf course' and the club is next door. Time: 8.00-11.45 pm. Price: £6.00 on door. Our comment: Really nice venue for dancing, usually really good bands to jive to if you like rock & roll, good parking and bar. Rooster is good. 10 April - Rock & Roll Night at Staunton & Corse Village Hall, GL19 3RQ with live band 'Downtown Daddios'. The venue is on A417 between Ledbury and Gloucester, just a few miles past where you cross the M50; go through Staunton and Corse and it's on the left as you start to get to countryside again. Time: 8.00-late. Price: £8.00 on door. Contact: 01452 849036. Our Comment: formerly Tewkesbury R&R club that's moved as of March 2010. Good venue & parking, generally good bands to dance to (don't know about Downtown Daddios though, not seen them!). A lot of people just go to listen to band rather than dance, which means the dance floor doesn't get too crowded! Take own drinks.

OK venue but not brilliant - but bands usually VG. Heard good things about this one, but not seen.
